Je n’avais pas eu le temps de partager des images de ce très bel évènement qui avait lieu au parc Asnapio de Villeneuve d’Ascq fin avril! J’y étais en très bonne compagnie d’artisans spécialisés: Alexis Gestes racines pour de la tabletterie, Nicolas la Trace du geste, boisselier, les forgerons et maîtres du bas fourneau de West Side Team, les potiers et archéocéramistes Fiona Moro Figulina et Pierre-Alain Capt Ars cretariae.
Le vendredi avant l’évènement, j’ai mené une formation teintures pour les guides du parc, très enthousiastes et qui se sont empressés de mettre en oeuvre ce qu’ils ont appris pendant le week-end d’animations avec un atelier indigo.

I didn’t find the time to share images of this wonderful event which took place at the Park Asnapio in Villeneuve d’Ascq at the end of April! I was there in the very good company of great historical craftspeople (links above in the French section).
On the Friday before the event, I led a dyeing course for the park guides, who were very enthusiastic and were quick to put into practice what they had learnt during the weekend with an indigo mini workshop.

C’était un super évènement dans le cadre vraiment sympa du parc Asnapio. Il y avait tellement de choses intéressantes à voir! Je suis toujours un peu frustrée de ne pas pouvoir aller voir les collègues au travail pendant ce genre de week-end, mais ça fait partie du jeu.

It was a great event in the really cool setting of Asnapio Park. There were so many interesting things to see! I’m always a bit frustrated that I can’t go and see colleagues at work on a weekend like this, but that’s part of the game.
